Round1 x One Piece Promo Cards: 3 Signup Waves Sell Out Fast
Round1 announced its ONE PIECE collaboration early on July 1, and the real chase was the promo card signup. Signups were scheduled to go live later that day at 1:00 p.m. ET with 9,000 spots available.
The signup window was supposed to stay open until July 6 at 1:00 a.m. ET. Instead, demand was insane. The site crashed constantly for people trying to enter, and the 9,000 signups still closed within roughly 10 minutes.
That was only the beginning. Wave 2 opened July 17 with 10,000 signup slots and no repeat signups allowed. It disappeared even faster than Wave 1. Wave 3 opened August 3 with 11,000 signup slots and was also gone very quickly.

What Are the Round1 One Piece Promo Cards?
The promo set has 10 character cards, one for each Straw Hat crew member. The artwork shows them playing sports, games, and doing the types of activities you can do at Round1. Examples include Bowling Luffy and Baseball Zoro.
The cards come in individually sealed one-card packs. Each pack contains one of the 10 cards at random, so completing a full set will not be as simple as picking the card you want.
Three Signup Waves Sold Out Almost Immediately
Wave 1 opened July 1 with 9,000 slots and closed in about 10 minutes despite website crashes. Wave 2 followed on July 17 with 10,000 slots. Repeat signups were not allowed, but the second wave still filled even faster than the first.
Wave 3 opened August 3 with 11,000 slots and was also gone very quickly. That brings the announced capacity across the first three waves to 30,000 signups.
There will be additional signup waves, but the number remaining has not been disclosed. There is speculation that the promotion will have five waves in total, though that has not been confirmed. Anyone still trying to register should treat future openings as extremely time-sensitive.
How the Promo Works
If you successfully signed up, follow the pickup dates and designated Round1 location shown on your registration.
The packs are free, but there is a catch: you get 1 pack for every $20 you reload onto your Round1 play card. Each signup allows a maximum of 10 packs, so getting the max requires loading $200.
Short answer: The first three Round1 x One Piece signup waves offered 9,000, 10,000, and 11,000 slots, and every wave filled extremely fast. Successful signup holders can get up to 10 random sealed one-card promo packs by loading $20 per pack onto a Round1 play card.
The Flashlight Pack Problem
There is a lot of collector discussion about being able to shine a flashlight through the pack and identify which crew member card is inside without opening it. That makes a sealed pack less trustworthy—and less valuable—than it otherwise would have been.
The problem is information imbalance. A seller can potentially inspect the packs, keep Luffy or the cards needed to complete a set, and sell the less desirable packs while they are still technically sealed. Luffy is currently viewed as the most valuable card, making searched loose packs especially risky.
⚠️ Buying Recommendation
I would only recommend considering these sealed packs as a group of 10 kept together exactly as one person received them from the store, rather than buying individual loose packs.
Even then, there is no guarantee. The seller may already have looked through all 10 and learned that the group does not contain a complete crew set or does not contain Luffy. In other words, sealed does not necessarily mean unsearched for this promotion.
Supply and Market Read
The promotion is stated to be while supplies last. Across the first three waves, 30,000 signup slots have been announced, but that does not mean every successful registrant will claim the maximum 10 packs.
Future signup waves will add more supply, while the flashlight issue may continue to put pressure on loose sealed-pack prices. Complete sets, verified groups of 10, and desirable singles—especially Luffy—are likely to be treated differently by buyers.
